Mitonet Fibre Optic Project

Hi there,

I noticed a signboard next to Discovery in Highveld Technopark (Centurion) displaying the "Mitonet Fibre Optic Project" a couple of months ago and I made a mental note to see what information I could find. They were digging up the sidewalks and laying fibre optic cables.

I did some googling and I was unable to find any information on this project. Does anybody perhaps know what the goal of this project is, or where I can find any information on it?
