Vodacom and MTN have the same pricing. Why doesn't ICASA or the competition commission find out why?
Biggest issue with this is that I have to go out and buy yet another f**king modem. I have a 3G stick modem. If I could use that I might be tempted, especially if they had a pay as you go option. But there is no way I am forking out R1.5k for something when all the reports I have been reading about their network are that it is carp and their service stinks.
Will stick to voda thanks. At least I know I will have coverage, get roughly the speed I am paying for, can use my data over 2 months and numerous other reasons.
I started telkoms wireless very early on [before advertising was all over the show] and it'd just started up.
Perhaps the best experience I've had with getting broadband [limited to neotel, iburst and normal ADSL]
I went in store, the guy there was very well informed. I had no activation fees [it was in trial period].
They explained that if it didnt work, or i didnt want it, I could return it after a week. If I did that, I'd get my money back for the device. No contracts, no obligations. Neotel on the other hand force you to pay the device cost regardless [or so I understand].
2mins to activate my sim card. And I was off home.
