More underhanded DA tactics!!

Hiding the poor? Apartheid tactics?

You obviously don't get out into ANC country much, do you? Recognise this? It's taken from google earth on the N1 near Grasmere; deep in the heart of ANC land. Alongside the highway, walls have been erected for miles next to the informal settlements. Built as a security measure to keep others out? I think not.

The DA has been in control of the WC since 2009. Up untill then its been controlled by the ANC from 1994. So in 2 years the DA has transformed the WC into an utopian service delivery area?

Honey, your intellectual prowess is drawing attention to you in the most unflattering way.

You're at the wrong party :)

When was the last time you took a drive to the airport? Or Mitchells Plain?

Seriously? Are you actually reading what you're writing? Wow...

Do NOT chase Djtay away. We need every voice of dissent we can get, otherwise we'll never see the full picture.

Djtay - invite your friends. The DA deserves criticism as much as any other political party. Bring it on!

Love the way the DA fanboys are out in full force. Pointing fingers at the ANC. "No the DA did nothing wrong, its all their fault" blah blah.

Cape Town Builds wall to hide poor

About 30 people took over a derelict building on the edge of Athlone Stadium’s parking lot seven years ago.

But now they are in the way of the city council plans to extend the parking lot of the stadium – which will be used as a football practice ground during the World Cup.

The city had previously applied to the courts to evict the people living there so that it could demolish the building and extend the parking lot. But the court ruled against the city, saying it should first find alternative accommodation.

A spokesperson for the group, Luwellyn Wilters, told Sowetan that they had been informed that the city would now build a wall around them.

Where's the DA fanboys? The DA trying to hide their incompetence once again.

Can't provide housing and TOILETS, now their trying to hide it.

sniff sniff- I smell a troll........ but just for the record, the DA has assigned a greater percentage of its money to education, housing and employment than the ANC- unfortunately they can only use the pittance given to them by the ANC... or what is left after the ruling party has squandered our taxes on lavish lifestyles/parties/fancy cars etc that is.....

As for littering, yes, drive around Athlone stadium to see the litter, even though they have bins and waste collection services just like the rest of us.

if tomorrow DA will close the gate and force to kick out the entire anc out of WC, do you think those anc supporters in WC will choose to stay (declare they are DA supporters) or leave? :D

Yes, it would be nice to hear the sort of criticism that goes beyond "The DA sucks and you all smell funny!", but everyone has to start somewhere.

Read the thread topic again. Thanks

This is about the DA.

Explain then why, if the DA is such a failure, did Gugulethu vote them in instead of the ANC?

http://blogs.timeslive.co.za/hartle...gest-election-upset-in-south-african-history/

They didn’t accomplish this with an opportunistic, last-minute, blitz strategy or because of apathy. This victory was the result of months, even years of work in this community by the DA which has rightly recognised that it needs to break out of traditional racial stereotyping if it is to ever make inroads into the ANC’s base.

No theories, no hypotheses, no ideologies .. just plain hard facts. Put that in your black, green & gold pipe and smoke it.
