Most energy efficient washing machine

This is current, seems be rated 2100watt only does like 9kg load.

Seems pretty bad.

That's the maximum draw if you are washing at 90 degrees, not the continuous draw.
Hmm thats pretty good info, I would need bit of more research, without smart meter cant really see how much washing machine really uses right now. I do know that can see quite bit more load on inverter, but I dont monitor all time when it is running.

I must say samsung top loader is rated at 500watt max according to the manual which is pretty impressive .
Most top loaders can't self heat water so that rating is "artificially" low.
Also top loaders generally don't wash as well as a front loader and they use too much water.

Swapping appliances wastes more money than just using the old ones till they break. Compare the power usage annually and you will see why the cost is not justified.

Exactly.

63.72 kWh for my washing machine in 2024

Or R237.

2 x Fridges on the other hand 1,030 kWh.

Anything else I nees to have look at?

Wait till the old one dies and then get an LG direct drive inverter front loader with an A+++ energy rating.

Queen size duvet, mattress cover/sheet, two pillow cases and continental pillow cases all in my 6kg no issues.

Sometimes even the mattress protector as well.
This even did my couch linen in my 7kg. No issues.

And what everyone fails to mention is most top loaders wash like kak, might as well put your washing in the bath and run around in a a circle on top of it for 30 minutes, far more effective.
