Just started my update as well :)

EDIT: I'm clearly not the only one. Soooooo slow. Only half way. And the UK is about to start waking up. :erm:

Mine went fast for the first 80MB or so, but the last 100MB took forever. I just wanted to have it done so I could put my alarm on and go sleep again :D but then I ended up changing from Dalvik to ART and man, the speed increase in apps is something to write home about :)

I have read about that issue but the only app that didn't work was my Gingerbread Keyboard that I was using. Whatsapp is working hundred percent. I removed the GB keyboard and I'll try and get used to the stock Android one rather :)

Interesting, was the update 4.4.1?

Mine was really fast, took like 10min with 8ta.

Anyone using ART?

Using it ATM, really impressed with it and the battery life is amazing. I unplugged my phone at 7:30 and it is on 91% battery with 43 minutes of screen on time. Considering I've been using it the whole day to check up on Whatsapp and Tapatalk I'm really impressed

You would be able to get the GPE rom somewhere just like the HTC one and S4 GPE roms. But i don't see the point really, the stock moto g is so close to stock android and the updates are not that far behind.

My bootloader is already unlocked so i am keeping my options open.

The GPE really seems to be an amazing option now... Pretty much like the the S4 Mini is to the S4 as this would be to the Nexus 5 :). This is my recommendation for a great budget phone!!

Has anyone with KitKat experienced the text wrapping issue with Chrome?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2578073

I am trying Dolphin Browser at the moment to see if it will alleviate the issue but I quite prefer the look and feel of Chrome :(

Google saw fit to remove text wrapping in the stock browser and Chrome (a stupid idiotic move), other than using Dolphin you just have to put up with it (at least until Google hopefully decide to see sense in the next fw release).
