Movie Mini-Review Thread

Or do you like watching just one person on the screen for 95% of the movie.

Thought Gravity was good. Looking for something like captain philips

[AshenP]

All is lost? Robert Redford?

If you are one of those people that finds pleasure in cutting themselves, watch it.

Yes the same one... Dont like cutting myself so will give it a miss

[AshenP]

What was the one suspense\true life movie you guys enjoyed the most? For me it was The Changeling with Angelina Jolie.

Not talking, or making a sound. Not even a "eina vok" when he bumps his head.

Expendables 3 - 3/10

I go into these movies knowing it's going to be a cheesefest, but this was tough to watch. Stallone was difficult to understand in parts, the jokes barely fashioned a smile on my dial and the "new blood" added absolutely nothing to the movie.

I am disappoint.

Guardians of the Galaxy - 8.5/10

Went into this movie expecting the worst, but I liked Marvel and generally enjoy the movie spinoffs.
I was pleasantly surprised. One of the few movies I didn't feel was 'too long'. Enjoyed the humour, characters and pacing.

I watched that without know what the movie was really about. I must say I enjoyed it. Way different from her normal movies.

Give The Whistleblower (2010) a go with Rachel Weisz. Also something you would enjoy I'm sure.
