Haven't seen it in a while and don't remember it as being mind blowingly good. I've never had an urge to watch it again (actually forgotten about it until you mentioned it now). I remember it being a very good/great western though.

I watched We Were Soldiers again the other night. Like one of my favourite films of all time and I'd give that an 8.5 or 9/10 (although I might be slightly biased). How would you rate it?

Not sure I've ever seen it. The critic ratings aren't very high for it. 6/10 on RT

Rating movies is such a biased thing. When the professionals rate and review films they do it for reasons the average movie goer doesn't care about.

I rate Scary Movie 5 as 1/10..possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. My friend that went with me couldn't stop laughing and thought it was great. Some guys here rate The Avengers as 10/10, I thought it was pretty average except for the visuals. I would never give something a 10/10.

What we should have is a list of movies and each member give it a rating out of 10. It'll actually be cool to see the average rating of MyBB members.
 
Olympus has Fallen. 6/10. Some of the scenes of violence and torture actually made me cringe and I'm usually quite immune to these depictions.
 
I Give It A Year 6/10 A good drama if you into that sort of thing,

Parker 4/10 Watch this if you don't have anything else to watch

21 & Over 2/10 Tries to compete Project X but fails miserably.

Battlestar Galactica - Blood and Chrome 8/10 Its BSG . . . enough said.

The Incredible Burt Wonderstone 6/10 Steve Carrel can still be funny at times. Jim Carrey has his moments.

That's what people with poorly developed taste always say.

So what's the point of scoring out of 10 if nothing can achieve a 10? Only Allah is perfect??
 
Jack Reacher - 6/10.

Very entertaining and I just love Tom Cruise as an actor.

After Top Gun, Cocktail & Far & Away, he will always be one of the best for me.

It's the truth. How many times I've had that conversation with people.
"You need to watch {movie X} it changed my life"

/Does a quick Google and sees that movie X has a 40% metacritic, imdb and rottentomatoes score. "Yeah I'm not so sure about that... "
"Oh you know critics are just biased. "

Or... it could be that your taste in movies sucks, possibly?

I use the Imdb app on my S2, their ratings are more accurate to me.

So you live off ratings then? I'll use it as a guide but it's up to the person to see if they enjoy it or not. And a some critics are biased. I've seen some real *** have good ratings as well.
 
Goddess: 3/10 It turned out to be a musical movie, of a bored housewife who found fame. Her voice is good and features Ronan Keating as well. Not the greatest movie I have seen so far.
