The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015) 7/10

1st off I have never heard of the series before; all 3 lead characters done a solid job; the period setting was smart as well. I just felt the story could have been better. Good watch but I still rate the other spy movies: Spy (2015) & Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014) a fair deal better as an overall watch & for the entertainment aspect.

I'll give it a 7.5, was more entertaining to me than Spy & Kingsman, though i did expect a bit more action than comedy.

Bone Tomahawk (2015) 7.5/10

1st off I'm not traditionally a western-movies man but this western blew me away. I believe it was shot on a relatively low budget but so well put together. The tension; story; lovely performances from Kurt Russell & Patrick Wilson.

You just wanted the good guys to win.

There is some horror elements but it's a western & through & through.

The last 25mims or so was properly intense & the one scene were these savages slaughter & eat this poor guy is beyond hectic. I won't go into details but surely other ppl who watch it will comment on that one scene in particular.

Put it this just a few mins before that scene I was nomming on some lovely Woolies Tin Roof ice cream. Let's just after that gruesome scene that ice cream did not sit too well.

Even though running time is over 2hrs it does not feel nearly that bad or dragged on.

Spectre (2015) 7/10

A great story which eventually skipped along nicely, but I found myself wondering how long there was to go after 45 minutes had passed by. I dunno, it was more like a good spy/action movie and it could have easily have been Tom Cruise or Matt Damon in the lead playing Joe Soap instead of James Bond.

Enjoyable enough with some great action, but Bond wasn't really Bondy enough with no quips and a distinct lack of gadgets.

Pound of Flesh (2015) 5.5/10

"A man's heroic attempt to help a woman in distress ends up with him waking up the next day without a kidney and plotting his revenge."It's a JVD movie so you know it has cheesy lines; weak story & lots of action.

Dope (2015) 7/10

A fresh; original & very witty coming of age movie. Good soundtrack & well told. The word n1gger is used so many times it's not even remotely "funny" though. You also see Victoria's Secret angel Chanel Iman topless for an extended time.

Cooties (2014) 6/10

"A mysterious virus hits an isolated elementary school, transforming the kids into a feral swarm of mass savages. An unlikely hero must lead a motley band of teachers in the fight of their lives." Average horror movie involving younger kids eating their teachers.Wooden acting & sloppy special effects don't help but it's kinda fun to watch.

Sounds like real life

Rage (Originally titled Tokarev) (2014) 6.5/10

"When the daughter of a reformed criminal is kidnapped, he rounds up his old crew and seeks his own brand of justice." Nicolas Cage in his brand of action; not much substance. Starts off slow but the twist at the end kept it going.

Bleeding Heart (2015) 5/10

"A yoga instructor looks to protect her sex-worker sister from her deadbeat boyfriend." Downright boring & zero suspense. Why would Jessica Biel sign up for this....

Ffs there is a yify thread in the forum, use it and stop pasting shyte in here .......

Ant-Man - 8/10 ...... Massive Marvel fan and enjoyed this one like the rest. Less super superhero but more laugh, I didn't mind that at all.
