Star Wars The Force Awakens - 6/10

I'm no star wars aficionado, but this had too much Disney actors about it. Great visuals but the acting was a bit lacking. Watched in IMAX

Finally something that kept me glued to the screen. Matt Damon was excellent. Better than that Interstellar crap.

About the people that shorted the property crash in 2008. Great movie.

Pretty stellar cast...will give that a look-see.

The Hateful 8. 4/10. Self indulgent mess with a bunch of guys taking to each other in a room for 2 hours broken by excessive violence.
Maybe a movie that requires a few viewings to appreciate but I think QT overplays his signature hand here.

A really fun watch. Excellent effects, dynamic score and enjoyable new characters. I liked the handover aspect to it.

Can't get away from the world's shallowness, though.

Garden of Words (Kotonoha no Niwa) - animation 10/10, story 6/10. Masterclass in how to blend cell and 3d animation, exquisitely detailed short film but rather deficient plotline. Still well worth seeing.

Watched all and this is the worst of the lot.

Its plays out like a docu-comedy. Very technical so you need some prior info on the housing financial crisis to appreciate it.

Inside Job is one of my favourite documentaries...I've watched it probably half a dozen times.

I think this was somewhat intentional...there's a message in there. Agree it could have been written \ directed better.
