Good day,

Could someone please help me as google seems unable to.

My problem comes that ever since I updated MS Office, my attachments only gets place INSIDE the body of the email, instead of being a regular attachment as per usual. Many of my clients cant open these attachments...and I am losing money because of this. Please, does anyone know how to change it back so that attachments actually attach to the message and not be placed inside the message body.

Thanks

Ah yes, thank you...this did not help...I found this using google and it did not solve my problem...but thanks none the less.

So after you change the format text to HTML it still attaches the file in the body of the email?

Which version of MS Outlook are you using?

have you tried to exit Outlook after making the change and then re-starting Outlook?

Make sure you are selecting any other option except RTF.

Maybe this site will help with your problem.

One of the best sites that I have found around that explain things properly instead of just telling you what to do. Read right to the end where there is an explanation of when to use RTF and when not and why this problem arises.

The format is HTML...it was from the beginning.

Did you read to the end of the link I gave you? There is a warning there dealing with why , even if you set it for html, it will still end up using RTF ..... I am pretty sure the same would apply to Office 365 version of MS Outlook (MS Outlook 2016)
