Has anybody dialled MTN's 808 recently ?

I've just spent the last 45 minutes trying to obtain information on my account regarding what happens if i havent upgraded by the time my contract comes to term.

Every single time i'm forced to listen to a Push-To-Talk Promo which is 2 minutes long and which i cannot get out of as it kicks in before i'm presented with any menu options.

When i listen through the Push To Talk Promo theres a Data/SMS Budnle Roaming Promo when i'm presented with the option eventually to push '0' to speak to an operator i get told to dial 808 from a cellphone or 083-1-808 from a landline ...

Small annoyances recently from MTN is slowly driving me to Vodacom i'm farking irritated right now.

Dial 808, then press '0' to speak to an operator. they usually answer within 10 minutes or less.

Once your 24 months have ended, your contract will go over to month to month, untill you renew it.

Tried that

Pushing '0' just results in IVR message telling me for account queries dial 808 from my cellphone or if i'm not using a MTN cellphone to dial 083-1-808

Managed to get what i wanted by phoning MTN Business

After pressing '0' just wait a few minutes, even though it tells u to dial 808 or 083 1808, it will put you through.

here's an example:

you signed a mycall 100, 25 months ago @ R49 per month. After the 24 months, you go onto the default price of R139 per month until you upgrade.
