so if we get schit BF deals

and we cant to cancel we need to pay an extra month for like few gigs of data

cause we all waiting for the BF deals

hopefully next month they post something

im on the 60+60 for 300 which is a good deal for me

but we finally getting fibre at home ..but with LTE you can go anywhere especially with WFH
 
Last 2 or 3 BF deals have been a major disappointment, so I wouldn't hold my breath for a good deal this year all of a sudden.

It's still a better deal than anything currently available, I'm hopeful for BF, if they can offer the same rate with a few more GB tacked on I'd be fine with that for another 24 month's.
 
Im currently on the black friday deal from 2018. Im on the made for me M. And Im getting 500 any network mins, plus additional 40gb day data and 50gb night surfer, so does your statement mean that I can upgrade and keep these promos?
Have the same deal. I'm hoping we get a good deal come bf otherwise its time to leave this ship.

By the way I was topped up today with an additional 40gb on top of the current 40gb lol.

Last few days I can't view my useage, is there anywhere else to view, what single USSD command can I use to see a detailed data balance that shows anytime and night data?
My MR600 can only send USSD commands and can't reply to them for some reason.

Well as far as I am aware the mr600 can receive a sms. So download the mtnapp from the apple or google store, install that connect to the router via the device and bobs your uncle, might ask for a once off OTP pin.

MTNapp gives you detailed balances, including bill, airtime and data break downs.

However you can add a pause in the USSD string, if forgot the commands for that, not sure all routers support that, I think since android 4 this has been supported.
 
I had +/-10 Gigs of anytime data left last month. It did not get rolled over to this month. Has anyone else had roll over issues and can somebody help with how the roll over of data is supposed to work. On the 60 GB anytime + 60 GB night.

OK so phoned again and got my bills. Turns out my contract did expire. I was previously offered a MTNMadeForMe S, which comes with a paltry 350 MB, 50 mins and 50 SMSes, but they bundled a 20GB anytime data on top of that for no extra cost.

It looks like at the end of my contract that part fell away and it was switched to a paid-for bundle, pro-rated for part of the month (my billing period is up to the 11th of the month, but the contract ended on the 27th of August).

Will start phoning retentions to see if they can offer me another good SIM-only deal.

Must say, my wife is on the MTN MyChoice 10GB, which is currently R199 a month. We added a 100min voice bundle to that, which is around R150. So for R350 a month having 10GB and 100 mins is not bad?

But will see if I can get something better.

I had this exact same deal, R148 for 100mins and 20GB data.
My contract also expired in August and I was charged about R900 for the 20GB data bundle...

Have you found a good sim-only deal again?
 
on the Mtn portal, I was able to switch between the 3 different numbers I had on my contract now I can't find the functionality anyone used it in the past or able to guide please.
I have three contracts and 1 expiring soon it appears.

On the MTN app home page, top left there is a drop down where you can select the numbers that are linked. I have 3 numbers and it seems like 2 numbers are linked to my first number I ever got from Mtn i.e. my main number. So if I log in with my main number I can select the main number and 2 linked numbers. If I select a linked number all other numbers dissapear except for the number I selected and I am not able to toggle between my other numbers. If I log out and then back in with the main number then I can once again select anyone of my 3 numbers.

Due to their system change in Feb this year and assigning new account number you will have to phone mtn to have it fixed easier said then done.I haven't tried to get it fixed, as mtn app does what it needs to

Have no idea I assume it has to with the number it self and the IP address connecting to the tower.
 
Does anyone else have they debit order date changed ?

mine used to go off on the 01st but last month it went off on the 08th or so
I had the same problem last month but it has been resolved by their customer care department

On Telkom you can. *180# enter, select 3 (bundle purchases) send, select 5 send.
*136*2# options... None of the sub categories offer sms bundles. I don't get it....
