If your sim is supposed to be active and it's showing no service, phone the activation line again, the idiot that helped me yesterday left the last number of the sim serial code out so the contract number wasn't registered with the sim.I got this sms this morning but sim still won't connect/no service:
Congratulations, you have been provisioned on My MTNChoice Talk+ S .See www.mtn.co.za for Ts and Cs and exclusions.
Put your reference number on their site tracking and check if they have it in their possession. I did that and had to phone them and give my ref no to arrange delivery for a specific day. They had my cell no wrong somehow.*sigh* Still waiting for useless RTT to deliver the sim. Since the 3rd.

They have, I have spoken with them 4 times already as well. They are just plain useless. It is beyond me that everything in this country can be so up to ****.
Also waiting since yesterday for them to deliver.
Good Luck, I am actually not really phased... but I am going overseas on Monday and still have to port my number before activating the sim before I leave. Despite me explaining this to them since Tuesday, I still haven't received the delivery.
R150 per month they said, no additional signup cost they told me.
So I decided to register on the https://mycontract.mtn.co.za site to check on my account and that's happening...
What I expected to see:
Pro-rata amount for November, eg. R49 for the last week.
R149 for December

Amazing, the R149 monthly fee nowhere to be seen, just other, arbitrary amounts?
