Did they charge you for sim ? How does it work actually in terms of minutes data SMS etc?
R136 setup fee which is for a blank contract sim(if you have an unused contract sim, ie ported your prepaid sim and never used the sim they sent you then you can use that) and R10/pm thereafter.

Dual call sim uses the main sims minutes and data but there are restrictions as to how the sms and calls from the main sim get routed to the Dual Call sim.

Does the secondary sim have different number? Can it be used independently from the main sim? Thinking of getting dual sim but using the main sim in a router and the secondary sim in a phone?

That's what I'm doing, it has its own number, runs independently of the main sim.

Gonna go this weekend to sort out the issue with my Dual Call. Wish me luck. Hope they fix the issue once and for all.
 
Looks like extracting the Zando vouchers will not be easy, in store or call center are clueless as to how to go about getting them. I enabled marketing but that didn't help, just got a flood of marketing sms :(

Can anyone confirm they received the Zando sms with marketing switched off on their accounts?

"Permission to market" is set to "NO" on my account. I did however receive the Zando on number only, although i signed for 3 new Cyber Monday R149 deals.
I am also trying to get the Zando vouchers for the other 2 lines, but call center unable to assist.

All the best.. Take down the name of whoever assists and also ref. numbers. Also try and get their email/phone number so you have one person to follow up with, instead of having to keep repeating the same story over and over.

How long did it take to activate the dual call sim? I submitted application on 9th and not activate yet , I called them today the lady tried to activate it but was getting some errors. She said it needs to be referred to technical Dept and turn around time 24-48 hrs. How did you mange it

Took around 2 weeks and some fiddling by a very helpful guy at my local Mtn shop but I only tried the sim in a phone a week or 2 after it was apparently active as I was away on holiday. Whether me not trying to use the sim had any effect or not I don't know.
 
Check if the MTN Dual Call service is showing on your account. If it's active, then it's a RICA issue. My secondary sim is showing as active under my account but sim itself is not working. It's a RICA issue.
 
Anyone got debited for the deal? I got a physical invoice now saying that they gonna debit R248.61. My billing cycle is on 13th and I activated service on 1st December. Is it correct amount for R149 cyber Monday deal?

Yup, my first debit was R249.
