MTN Black Friday Discussions

I know someone applied last time through their business, can you list the documentation required for a business application?

cant seem to find any info on the website.

I did. The aunty needed:

*CK Company registration documents (2 pages for us)
*3 months bank statements
*Written request on Company letterhead
*RICA Doc's (ID and proof of residence

This is for a Closed Corporation but should apply to other company types.

They didn't allow business applications, but they allowed the debit order to be from the business account.

Incorrect. I have 2 sims under "trading name Trading as business name cc"

For those guys getting billed +-250...

It looks like mtn has increased their price on the website of both sim only deals. They are listed at 249 and 299. Previously they were 149 and 199.

This will suck if they changed prices in the first month of a contract without even letting customers know.

Ai... us South Africans love a good whine, so allow me to whine at your whine. If you look at your invoice you'll see the contract is structured as a R249 package with a R100 discount. The R250 bills are made up of pro-rata for the first month, plus the next months full cost. New contracts might be at a higher tariff but for those of us who already have it it's R149pm.

The contract is discounted by R 100 for Black Friday. Thus R 149 instead of R 249

Check if the MTN Dual Call service is showing on your account. If it's active, then it's a RICA issue. My secondary sim is showing as active under my account but sim itself is not working. It's a RICA issue.

My dual call sim is showing network but when I try to call t says RICA barred so tried rica center they say try activation. Activation center says they can activate only normal sim not dual call sim it has to be activated at store. What's the correct procedure for this pls help

For a business (cc or pty) address confirmation, you'll need a copy of the lease if the property is not owned by the business.

All the above is only required when you initially sign the contract. After that for renewals you just need the director's/member's ID/License and a company letter requesting the upgrade.

WTF, that wasn't disclosed when I signed up. Source?

So if I waited and signed up now I could have gotten the R219/month contract with a device.

I don't think so now the device will add to the total and I can't find anything less than 400

It was mentioned previously that the billing shows R 249 and it says discount R 100. I did confirm that the normal price of that sim only contract was R 249 but it sold at R 149. Which means it was a promotion
