Plus30gb if you take a lte device only 50gb can't be shared

The R149pm deal on BF and CM was only 500mb data but 200 all network minutes. Your package today is slightly different - you will only get 100mins but 2GB of data. Yes the 2GB can be datashare'd

Yeah, I actually asked if one could get the 200 minutes and 500mb data instead of the 100 minutes and 2gb but no dice!! The extra 100 minutes would have been far more beneficial than the 2gb of data...

Also asked if I could get a dual sim and was told unfortunately not. Guess on another day, with another consultant, it would be possible. I was assisted by Johan.

Nah, 2GB is a bit much. I'd take it if offered though.
 
im also having a fight with them on the R249.

no where on the black friday call was R249 mentioned discounted to R149.

thus invoice received was :
R249 pro rata for the first 20 days
the R249 minus R100 discount for then next month

This results in the pro rata being R156 which is more than the R149 for a full month.

was chased around 5 times on the call center and to an MTN store and back to MTN direct - doesnt seem like anyone has a clue (except that the R249 part for the pro rata is not discounted, which i dont believe is fair since R249 was never mentioned on the phone contract)

How much exactly was your invoice - by my reckoning your first invoice should be R245.12 (20 days pro-rata) or R249.95 (21 days). Remember you pay in arrears for the first month and in advance thereafter so your first invoice covers two months

First two sim cards (ordered on black friday, received 30 Nov) - > R315.02 each
third sim card (ordered cyber monday, received 13 Dec ) -> R207.12 each

Lol, no. I'm trying to send him 500mb... Failing currently. I've never used MTN's data share feature. I've activated the service online, added him to my data share list but I'm not seeing any option to actually send anything. What am I missing?

Dude, chill.
My Telkom mobile 10+10gb special deal has had a R100 discount applied to every invoice for the last 5yrs, it's just the way they do it, it's marketing bs and also that when the contract expires the discount is removed which allows them to unilaterally increase the contract charge at that point.

Where do you get the detailed bill I'm struggling to find details on the MTN app. Apparently they gonna deduct 497 on 15th
 
As long as he is part of your data share list, he'll pull the data on his sim. You don't need to send him anything. Download the MyMTN App. It's easier to work with data share there.
