Never bought from them before and not sure if I subscribed to marketing. How can I check? Although, if I was asked when setting up the contract I certainly wouldn't have opted in.

In the Mtn web portal there is a setting, mines set to no marketing
 
On back page of current catalogue it details the voucher,time to do a search I think.
 
im on cyber monday and I have bought before from Zando and still got 2 codes (2 contracts).

Did you consent to marketing?

And the codes are R250 each, no minimum spend?
 
im not sure about the consent marketing aspect. And yes R250 no min spend. Only allowed one per account tho.

Intersting how nicely Mtn set these contracts up, for once it suits the customer, using the 50gb first really is nice.

I'd be interested to know if datashare can access the 50gb or if it's only the 500mb, even if it can't it's advantageous because then you can share the 500mb without worrying about the datashare device chewing your 50gb bundle.

I also applied for dual sim now they said it's not allowed in the special deal but after some arguments gave it to me but charged R136.80 and said only data can be shared and not the 50GB one though
Is it right or am I missing something ? It says multi sim in the invoice

Datashare is not allowed for the 50GB only for the 500mb
 
Does anyone have direct numbers or a direct email to someone named Tiny in the jhb MTN direct department?

It's a headache trying to get them to phone you.

I just agreed to marketing via online portal but haven't received anything yet, will try calling Mtn direct tomorrow again.

Also gave me the run around saying it wasn't possible, Dual Call sim finally worked after 3 weeks and it uses the 50gb bundle.

Did they charge you for sim ? How does it work actually in terms of minutes data SMS etc?
 
More often than not what one is told is possible and what is actually possible doesn't quite align, dual call on these specials another case in point
