Yeah I think they hedged a bit and if people are only using it on their phones they wont get through 50gb most months,however if people are using dual call then the second sim gets used as data only and they don't want that.

Same reason why they no longer offer a sim only deal,they want these things used in phones mainly.

The R86.84 is the prorated amount.
The R218.43 less R87.72 is the amount ex-VAT.

What is dual call then actually? Is this for dual sim phones or what?

Getting 2 today. Want to use one in phone now and again. Will be using it in modem. Anything I must activate same time?

What about setting a cap?

Although reports from users on the forum indicate that the second SIM doesn't in fact share the same number as the primary SIM

Dual call sim was used back in the days, it diverts your calls from your main sim to the 2nd sim for free, if no one answers the call on the main sim. The real reason why people want it is the 2nd sim shares the data and the free-min from the main sim, including the 50gb.

Doesn't work on packages you can take out today.Mtn explicitly mentioned it in the release documentation.
