MTN Black Friday Discussions

Even if you were on your last cent, you still wouldn’t cancel this contract.
Uncapped adsl at home and only using 2gb per month currently on 2 of these sims, so don't need it any longer

I think the reason is to have time to be able to apply for any new black friday deal as it's for 'new' contracts only?
Wouldn't they allow a contract that's up for renewal to utilise a BF special?

What was the best deal like this one with lots of data on last year's BF specials?

Good chance there's probably not going to be much up for offer this year.

Not even if you paid triple the amount...

Ok surely im not following. I assumed the service is not working out for you since you want to move to Telkom so yeah, not sure why even triple the money wont entice you :wtf:

You aren't following. I'll be moving to Telkom once this contract period is over and the promotional bundles fall away.

Just an update, put request in for early termination of contract as 5months to go, R5500 would be the penalty.
Calculation based on device cost/contract term by months remaining and current months bill, so will let contract run it's course

Just keeping till time up then closing it off. And seeing what new contracts come out.

Does anyone remember what waa 2017's BF deals from MTN? Was there a sim only deal with 50gb/month?
