MTN Black Friday Discussions

I have upgraded this morning to the R149 sim only (10 + 10)anytime +10 GB night express.
Two hours later I got this SMS from MTN.

What do you good people make of it?

Perhaps that 300 min is mtn to mtn?

am sure you can kick up a fuss and invoke CPA and have something done. You'll need to speak to the branch manager if not owner
 
I got a feeling( I bloody hope so) it's all the same deals. There's just been a communication balls up.

CPA states you have 7 days before a contract becomes valid. Can dead it right now without penalties although would you be able to then upgrade after? I doubt it.

Well I was offered 100GB night time data last week and that wasn't in any of the emails. In fact the emails didn't even mention night time data.
 
This might be a stupid question to you guys but if I do take out one of the data contract above, can I still load airtime for phone calls or is this just a data sim card?
 
Has anyone been able to take up these deals if it wasn't offered to them?
Im due an upgrade but I wasnt part of the BF stuff.

Definitely ,I also got offered the same deal as you but you're forgetting "made for you L" already comes with 200 anytime minutes so in total you've been offered 300 anytime minutes and 100gb of data for R549...

I suspect the wording may be off and we're getting 300min total,(200 on made for me L + 100min on the bolt on inlcuded) but yeah still 300min and 100gb of data will be sweet.

But yes the 90gb +60gb data deal at R299 sounds sweet too!

I'm just gonna wait until friday since they haven't mentioned expiry anywhere have they?
