To those that applied how long did it take for your SMS to come through?
 
What is the code? I'm at MTN and they can't find it. The R299 one you mentioned

A few posts above yours says it's only available via the retentions department and not the store. You'll have to call mtn and ask to be put through to retentions.
 
But didn't receive an SMS yet with confirmation of change or anything
 
If I upgrade to the BF special (100gb + 50gb) - would I keep my existing data? I have around 32gb left on the sim.
I upgraded to the 100+100 last week and kept my 47 or so Gigs from previous one and got an extra 30 GB pr rata.

Im on the call with them now as well. A lady at the call center, Amanda, said this deal is valid but needs to be processed through retensions.
 
On the phone with retentions getting the 299 deal only for bf 2016 customers:
40 gig day (sharable)
40 gig night
150 minutes any network
500 minutes network

The same deal went for 199 yesterday but it was limited to a certain number of customers.

This was a good deal, missed out on it
 
Did my deal over the phone this morning on the drive to work, 15 minute hold, 10 minute conversation. Had to answer 3 questions, no paperwork needed. No hassle of travelling and waiting at a store.

Ah so we can add minutes. It’s so weird that certain shops do certain things while others have no issue doing it.

Should keep a list and punish those shops refusing to help.
You can just add it yourself on your online portal if they don't...
