The MTN 141 loyalty points. You need to register for it. You get points for doing normal stuff on MTN.
 
My night data reset back to 50GB, not sure when it happened but I only noticed it now

Any idea if that free 1gb redemptionis linked to the phone number and/or device IMEI?

I have a few MTN Sims that I was data sharing to so if I can delete the app, insert new sim and then have a GB loaded on the new sim after installing the app again that would be rad.

On these Bf contracts is it possible to set it up so you get email notifications for data usage 50% used 80% etc?

My sim is in a router so I don't get the useage sms's, which would have alerted me to my data apocalypse

All their black friday deals have exceeded expectations so far.

Im currently on black fri business deal, although I only upgraded in Feb - R299, 600 mins, 50gb anytime, 40gb night IIRC
So I would definitely wait it out, since BF is so close
 
Anyone else missing data? Twice now in the last 20 days I’m out of data despite usage stats and *141# reflecting differently. My bundles get loaded on the 12th of the month...

The data share seems to be broken or they just billing it incorrectly. But I suspect they know what they doing. Most usage seems to be in 100mb blocks. Some minutes apart.

Can some of you please check your usage on the mymtn app? There even an email feature that works. And a 1gb free for 24hrs on installation.

Why it’s suspicious billing is because there seems to be recurring MB block charges. When I’m at the pc I’ll chuck it into excel to check further. Data use on the whole should be unique. The billing that is.

Bump, does anyone know if getting useage alerts on MTN is even an option or whether I'm barking up the wrong tree?

Just log into router every few days to read smss, or check in the mymtn app.
Try set the notifications number as your primary number in mtnactive

It does work well but with LTE and a bad looping download you can smash all your data in a day, via email would be the natural solution.

I'm in the market to upgrade my Samsung S6 - finally.

So will port to any network on Black Friday with the best deal.

Phoned another dept at MTN and apparently this is not possible, which sux.

No rumours yet, can expect 40 to 50gb anytime for around R199 a month I think.
 
Is data share limited to one number or can you share between multiple numbers?
