Yeah my outstanding amount went from R4970 to R1320 on Tuesday instead of to R780 wich is what I would normally pay.

The R780 includes a contract I use for my phone.

I’ve calculated it from the incorrect bill and see that they’ve only removed one ofmy bundles and not both to get to the amount.



R104 + R677.74 + vat = R898

I'm on the black friday 60+60 for R299. I just called MTN now to sort out the billing because the outstanding balance is R932.32

They said that is the correct amount that I need to pay. I called them last month to give them notice to cancel my contract and they never say anything about paying so much more.

They keep saying that's it's because of Pro-rata.

Is what they are saying correct?

Did any of you guys have the same problem?

Yes. Everyone is having that problem. Some claim there’s have been corrected. Mine has only been partially corrected.

I'm on a Business BF package (MadeForBusiness S - 50gb +200min + 1000 on net min), was previously on the 2016 BF package.

I noticed all the new offers, don't have any anytime minutes included, can this still be added on?

Any luck for bolt on minutes this time round? Worked like a charm the last two years with the 100gb + 100gb contract.

Consultant confirmed. These are retentions only.
He also refused to give me the deal code. Said they are not allowed to.

Has anybody else gotten this code yet? Or at least this deal too?

This is personally the exact deal I'm interested in - just a bit of minutes for the occasional use and plenty of data.

So I happened to do a speed test at my local service station. Hit speeds of around 400mbps!! Closed the app quick quick. Was expecting the usual 50-70mbps...

The mtn app is messed up. Its now showing a credit of R334 as outstanding. I'm sure they still trying to sort this out on their end.

Luckily I have an email from them acknowledging the error and how much I am actually suppose to be paying.

Will i be able to use the sim card inside on a B315 router? the consultant i spoke to didnt have an idea. On the brochure it is written “Device and SIM locked for 24 month”

1gb data share. The rest is promotional data and therefore not shareable.
