I wasn't able to tell which deals were 36 months and which were 24 please clarify before upgrading
CANCELLATION:
Any time = 1 month subscription penalty + current unbilled invoice.
So makes no sense to take the 24 month at a higher rate per month, if you can cancel in anyway when you want for the same penalty. Only difference is that you can "upgrade" earlier on the 24 month contract.
DATA SHARE:
Data share uses non promotional Data, promotional Data cannot be used for Data share, non promotional Data carries over for 2 months, promotional Data not used is forfeited at 30 days. You use promotional Data first, by default...

The issue is to what numbers is it shareable! I got caught in 2018 when the sales rep specifically said I would be able to data share with my daughter and wife on contracts and I could not. You can data share to a prepaid number and afaik, that is about it....
So this year daughter goes from contract to prepaid, wife goes R149 for 550 minutes and 15.5gb anytime data and I'm sticking with a R199 data intensive package (80gb anytime, 80gb night time, 40gb anytime shareable and 40gb night time shareable)... My spend the last 2 years around R680 a month. Now R348. I'll data share to the daughters prepaid number and buy sms bundles and voice minutes when necessary.

Well now I am confused, specifically on the 500GB for R499. Shouldn't there also be 500GB night data and with 400GB shareable since it is on the MyChoice 400GB contract, so only 100GB should be promotional (and hence not shareable)

Not sure how their product naming works. When I check on the app I see that it's also 15.5 GB. /shrugI eventually managed to get this

I think you’re misunderstanding what’s happening here.
These are both BF contracts.
One is a MyChoice and one is a Made For Me. The Mychoice is able to datashare to prepaid simcards but not to the Made for Me contract sim.
Abzob, the R299 for 150gig + 150 gig and the R499 for ir 500gig + 500 gig. Are these Mychoice or Made for Me
These are all personal and not for business retentions right?

Not sure about the R299 but the R499 is MyChoice.
They've given me like 30GB somehow.

I think there's a certain amount that you can't toggle off, that's once-off and has to be used within 30 days.

Where do you find this? Is it an MTN app? And how do you check your limit? The SMS said my limit has been set to R1080 for some dumb reason.

On the MyMTN app, not the normal MTN app...
The MTN app has brilliant deals on bundles. I generally buy around 700 to 1200 any network minutes for around R250. Smaller bundles voice and sms also available.
I think the app presents offers based on your usage.

Maybe try again with another consultant and tell them to check the deal code - CT00024BF
