MTN Black Friday Discussions

I couldn't get any black friday deal as I don't have an existing Mtn contract for long enough. Anyone willing to share data to my MTN number and I could pay them for it?
Anyone interested?
 
Wth. So what am I upgrading to? Dammit.

The deal codes closed yesterday apparently. I upgraded on Monday to the 50GB 125min for R239.

I was hoping for better deals to be released but this year was weak

Can you confirm if you are able and how much data is shareable please.

That is the same one I upgraded to and everything was loaded as PROMO data so zero shareable.

Only 1GB says shareable.

Only the base contract data is shareable. We are on a mega gigs xs plan.

The base data is 1GB anytime, 500mb social, 500mb video and 25 min.

The BF deal adds 50GB data and 100min. That totals 52GB and 125min.
 
Those that managed to change to cash payment from debit order...can you share how you make payment going forward ?
Didn't get any knowledge but see there is a menu in the app to add card and make a payment or is cash option for bank eft ?

I use the MTN app, I pay with my CC but you can use any bank card to pay.
Just don't pay late because they will suspend your number..

MTN app works for my primary number, but cannot pay second contract. Colleague cannot even pay via app for their primary number, used to work but not since a few months ago.

Just add your credit card to the app! Take note, MTN said it could take to 5 to 10 days to reflect.

Plan B, just EFT

As simple as that. And contract subscribers have 30 days to pay once the statement is issued

Thanks I'll give that a try...managed to get it changed today so have the month for it to properly update on their systems.
 
Logging into app with second number does not give option to pay.

Even on Home screen where 'Bill so far' normally takes you to more detail and option to pay, nothing happens when tapping on it. Strange.

Already added a credit card.

Maybe try install the Mtn app on a totally separate device and only use that account details with that app, if needs be on that device delete the Mtn app before logging in again to ensure any old account data is removed.
