I was literally in MTN Canal Walk 10 minutes ago and asked the consultant. She confirmed that it is shareable. I'm waiting till all the BF deals comes out. If there's nothing better, I'm signing up for this deal.Anybody upgraded to the 200GB for R399 package? Is the data shareable?
The lady at retentions told me its not shareable at all, even though the website says shareable to max 5 mtn numbers.
As far as I know only the MyChoice contracts have Datashare and it’s now limited to 5 devices only. It's anytime data, non promotional. It should all be shareable. Need to confirm though. MTN changes their t & c so often even their own reps have no flipping clue.
Is that the current terms, they recently reduced the number to only 5?
I can still add more than 5, also note it is not just for MyChoice. Is that the current terms, they recently reduced the number to only 5?
You only share the data across the 3 sims as far as I know.Upgraded to the Sky Silver package for R522 x 24
4500 mins all network
Unlimited MTN to MTN
Unlimited SMS
500MB roaming
R60 intl. Calling allowance
50GB anytime data
According to MTN website, Sky packages come with extra number/Sim or something, going to visit the store and find out, then put the Mrs on it to help knock that 4500 min down and stop the WhatsApp calls.
I can still add more than 5, also note it is not just for MyChoice.
It's in the link I shared initiallyMobile Internet Diamond
200GB Anytime data @ R399 month to month seems like the only 1 worth it for me. Night data is useless.

Is the general consensus Vodacom better than Mtn for loadshedding back up? I have a Vodacom BF deal up for renewal.I’ve moved my 2020 BF number, which I’ve had since 1997, to prepaid.
Happily running on R200/month of Vodacom prepaid. Signal during loadshedding was the clincher
Initially during load shedding MTN was the pits. You could not even make a voice call. But from around June they have improved to the point where load shedding or not, there is no drop off in performance/difference.Is the general consensus Vodacom better than Mtn for loadshedding back up? Does my Vodacom number need to be prepaid before I port to Mtn? Can the BF deal be ordered and "wait for me" for my Vodacom to clbwcome prepaid prior to porting? Very happy with Vodacom. Sharing data difficult. No voice calls included.
This is probably area dependent but I experienced the same.Initially during load shedding MTN was the pits. You could not even make a voice call. But from around June they have improved to the point where load shedding or not, there is no drop off in performance/difference.
