I use my main sim in a router, it's pretty limiting with the app that needs the sms authThe MTN app, it’s pretty decent.
No the app can authenticate via the router, it somehow detects it and allows the log-in.I use my main sim in a router, it's pretty limiting with the app that needs the sms auth
As long as you're connected to the router that has the sim, you can log in to the app with that sim's number. And use the app as per normal.I use my main sim in a router, it's pretty limiting with the app that needs the sms auth
I did my 2 business lines todayHas anyone with a business account received any good deals?
I've got about 6 contracts due for renewal and the consultant that emailed me is offering me crap, I currently have the following
2 LINES: 50GB + 200min @R529pm 40GB + 200min @ R429 2 LINES: 50GB DATA ONLY @ R220 1 LINE: 100GB DATA ONLY @ R329 1 LINE: 10GB + 250MINS R279
He's currently presenting contract options ranging from R879 to R1149. The lowest proposal is R399, suggesting a switch from the 50GB lines to a 150GB plan, which isn't something I need.
If anyone has similar packages, please share your deal codes.. It has to be on a BUSINESS account, so business deal codes please.
I did my 2 business lines today
Line 1: 50gb + 150gb = 200gb anytime data per month. R299pm x24months
Line 2: 50gb anytime per month. R199pm x24months
50gb is data-shareable on each line
Pm me if you want deal screenshots that MTN Business will recognise and approve. Also happy to share cell number and email address of the business consultant who assisted me.
PM sent (Don't want Google to cache his details)Please share the consultants details.
Just make sure that deal comes directly from MTN and you aren't speaking to an MTN person on FB or social media. I had attempted fraud when making a complaint with MTN. A very official MTN looking FB complaints manager talked me through the complaint and made me a decent retentions offer. Then did a Std Bank debicheck, then asked me to pay the upgrade fee into an "MTN Retentions" ABSA account, which is where I got suspicious.Got the Mobile internet gold - R149 deal with code: 2023031 CT 00009 this morning.
On the DebiCheck Mandate an installment amount of R894 is mentioned. Where or how is this calculated? It does not seem right?
Unless DebiCheck refers to the credit amount MTN is willing to extend to?
Our fibre guys cant even dig a trench. With a slight drizzle there is an outage.
How you doing Sam ?
I also spoke to Sharleen and got the 525 mins, 17GB anytime data for R160/month. All done in 15 minutes.
she hasnt responded to me at all lol.Sorted out - Sharleen (emailed in a previous post) helped me out with the 17gb + 525min x 36months for R160pm package.
She hasn't responded to me either. Guess I'll waitshe hasnt responded to me at all lol.
i was looking for a phone deal.
How did you get to them? I also tried retentions and they say there no minutes on that deal. Have seen a few posts about the same issueI upgraded to Mobile internet gold for R149. Data was allocated but don't see minutes showing on the app. I can still make calls though. Not sure if anybody has had a similar experience.
This particular package of 60gb and 200min was a bit difficult to get (2023031 CT 00009). I found that only the guys at ignition was able to assist with this deal. The rest of the retention crew was of no help.
When I called retentions last Friday, I was transferred to ignition which at the time I wasn't aware of. Then for some reason my call was cut. So when I called back and asked to be put back onto the same agent, I was told it was ignition who was handling my upgrade. How did you get to them?
