MTN mum on billing problems

This is the fastest way for MTN to go down the tube.
After contacts expire most will port elsewhere...
Have the members of the company been kidnapped by hamsters?

One thing that I hate are all the Vodacom and MTN ads (especially that meerkat). Has anyone ever laid an official complaint to the Advertising authority about the false advertising that they produce. It would be great if they were forced to pull all their ads for a while to show them that bad service gets punished. This actually applies to a lot of products not only them

There have been charges laid before and several ads in the past were withdrawn (VC and MTN).
Especially MTN for claiming higher speeds than what they insinuated in their ads.

What I am really interested to determine is where does the interest earned go? In other words, MTN has overbilled most of their contract customers... Say each contract customer was overbilled by R100.00 and there are 100,000 contract customers... This means MTN incured an additional R10m on their bank statement and in the region of about 50k additional interest on the bank balance? So, where is the interest going?

This is a really good question they are most probably hiding it somewhow
