MTN One Rate cut to 2c/second

Come on, give credit where credit is due. We wanted cheaper rates and atleast they are making an attempt. Yes, it's more than Cell C's 99c per minute but it's way better than what we have been paying for all these years.

Im not saying we have to give them a bells, just give them credit credit for actually competing.

So if I talk 5:00. That's R6.

Looks pretty reasonable to me.

Another benefit, is the per second billing, unlike Vodacom. You talk 2:01, you're not billed R2.40, but R1.22. Cool.

Rubbish, Ill give them no credit. They are more expensive than the competition and seem to be be doing this reluctantly long after Cell C launched their 99c deals. Those Mahala promotions are ridiculous, promotional pricing at whatever time suits them. I phone when i need to make a call, not when there are Mahala specials running. Its so much simpler with Cell C(And you get value adds when you recharge). If you are on pre-paid I cant understand why you are not with Cell C.

Yes 2c wow! After a while, it actually 1.20 per minute on per second.

Eish! They are trying, what are they trying? Mtn is not new here. They have been screwing customers with Vc.

FTFY

(unless I've lost all mathematical ability... not an impossibility, mind you)

at long last; thank you cell c, you have started a revolution

2 cents per second x 120 seconds? Unless I'm missing something?

Per second billing of 2:01
2c per second x 121 seconds = 242c = R2.42

Per minute billing of 2:01
(2 min and 1 sec scaled up to 3 minutes) x R1.20 per minute = R3.60

Please say you agree otherwise I might be going mad.

I agree

Come on MTN you are really neglecting your post paid customers which is a steady stream of income

You answered your own question as to why they dont care.
Also most people are too lazy or ignorant to port their numbers for a better deal, so MTN will keep raping thier post paid customers.

Wow its actually impressive rates there...... but this plan comes withou MTN Zone which means you have to choose pay the higher rate with MTN zone and get free calls on net or pay the lower rate but get no free calls....

Why not just make it R1.20 per minute with MTN Zone.... Sorted
