Can any body help please. I need to know wot is the better one mtn uncapped or 8ta 20gb 5 promo.

8ta gives you more data for a better price but coverage might be an issue. MTN has better coverage.

The mtn is uncapped for the same price as 8ta.

He's talking about the 20GB package.

R289 vs R299.

Look, I think 8ta has an advantage, because you can use 10GB, high speed, while you're awake, but when that's over, you're screwed to browse after midnight, downloads are done by then anyways. With MTN on the other hand you do 3GB, but after that everything turns slow. But you can do up to 60GB (at 32KB/s), or 40GB with half trying. So depends on you. 10-fast-GB then screwed, or 2GB/day at 256Kbps unlimited.

Its a vvery hard decision to make. I herd that on the mtn after the three gigs they charge abit so they say its not true uncapped .

They don't charge you as far as I know but It will go so slow, you will be reminded of dial-up.

Are you an MTN employee ? as only someone from there would say something so scandalous.
LOL

They won't charge you extra. How can you get unlimited petrol at a fixed price and get charged extra. For further discussions about latency and speed. Visit the two MTN uncapped threads. Can't link now.

For me, East London I get about 5Mbps on both networks. But as per 8ta post, check your coverage, and on MTN just get a sim card, load data and test. But obviously after you've been throttled on MTN, you're going to get about 160-200Kbps of 256Kbps which is 20-25KB/s, which at 24/7 yields about 1.8GB a day. If you want to game, don't even think about it.
