Operators say no to MTN spectrum: report

Vodacom, Cell C, Neotel and Smile Communications have all objected to MTN’s application to Icasa for an 5MHz of spectrum, TechCentral reports.

I stand to be corrected here... But I don't think current mobile devices are able to operate in the 5GHz band? Barring WiFi of course.

I believe 5mhz refers to.the size chunck spectrum... not tje band. The band is 2100mhz

If they have the money and are able to action (intentional word choice) the process, then they should be allowed to.

As it stands now:
