Had the same reaction from Vodacom when I applied for a contract. Only difference was because I am a security guard I do not qualify and then got the arrogance. But MTN gave me a contract the very next day. I spend on average about R800 a month on both my contracts... I am happy to pay every month as I pay a companny that didnt discriminate against me because of my job.

Yeah really all depends on where u go. The branch I went to was Cresta...treated me like crap. I then went to the Killarney branch and they treated me well even though they knew I was a student and willing to help. Some guys just don't know what 'service' actually means regardless if you've done the deal or not. It all counts at the end of the day. I would never go to the Cresta branch because of what happened. Even though it was 2 yrs ago. They just have the thinking 'one customer doesn't really make a diff'...
When my cell phone was stolen on 1 December minutes before I must leave for vacation I also tried in vain to get hold of MTN Victim Centre so decided to do everything personally and in writing when I comes back from vacation since the cell phone as well as simm have security codes and only a very stupid person will use the stolen cell phone and simm for traceable calls.
It was stolen. He as far as i can figure out from other posts he mad elsewhere on the forum he did report it.
Be that as it may.... If he had a reference number from MTN for reporting stolen sim, then he would have had a legal leg to stand on. problom is.. he didn't.
Now tries to shift blame and make someone else pay for his bad judgement call
That's what someone else posted that was apparently from the website. Seems like he didn't report it at all till weeks later!
Maybe his problems with the call centre can be explained by his excellent grammar and sentence construction![]()
Is the guy allowed to use MTN's logo like that? I read somewhere that doing that is illegal...I'm referring to the logo on the top left on this guy's website? Maybe he's employed by Vodacom
