I have been trying for over a mnth now to have a speed problem resolved with my HSDPA problem. I tried normal channels first then asked MTN DD for assistance when I got nowhere. I then almost got somewhere when a technician phoned me, but he tried to convince me I was wrong without investigating further. I told him I have tests with Vodacoma nd MTN from my house and I can prove theres a problem as I get HSDPA download speeds but only 3g upload speeds. He told me to e-mail him the proof and MTN vs Vodaocm comparisons, which I did.

No responses to the e-mails and MTN DD has not helped resolve this any further or help get a solution to this.

To date I kept it all private messages and not public as I thought it could be resolved amicably. I was clearly wrong. I regret moving from vodacom to mtn and luckily i just have an add on data bundle with MTN. Not only is latency lower with Vodacom but speed is better. Since MTN dont want to help resolve a blatantly evident problem I will be cancelling my bundle with them and taking out a vodacom bundle and getting a sim data card linked to my vodacom number.

Really no fuss to me. Its no wonder why MTN are the second best and will stay that way....until Cell C and Virgin pass them.

Hi,

I have had somebody come to see me now.

The above thread is the outcome of this. How can you have links on your website which lead us to beleive we will get more than 64k upload speeds and now you say thats not possible with MTN.
When will upload speeds be changed to that what I get on Vodacom ie 250kbs?
