Thanks man. i get it now. so how much do you currently have and with whom? You get lost easily, you can do the arithmetic?
Let me spell it out for you.
The packages they are offering are not sufficient to meet, the data required, to keep all happy.
That good enough for you or must I elaborate further.

I wanted to take adsl. But then i saw all the adsl is being killed news, aaannndnd i figured nope.!I have uncapped with Telkom - ADSL, then I have no need to worry about policing, who uses what when, or how much. Fiber not available, in area yet, hopefully it arrives before Tekom kills copper in our area.
Fixed LTE offerings are improving, albeit slowly.
I had the 100gb from Cell C and the rain unlimited packages (which I only use on weekends)So 150gig option?

lol, i dont want a more complicated life.. just give me anytime data, no other BS. so you can not have to worry about switching to this and that for differant times of the day.I had the 100gb from Cell C and the rain unlimited packages (which I only use on weekends)
I did one 8gb game download this month, and i'm currently on 15gb left for the month. Apart from that, all I ever do in the week is stream netflix, game, and browse facebook, from about 5:30-22:00. Weekends I am generally streaming netflix when the rain sim is off so between 6pm and 11pm or so, and that's just me by myself.
I wanted to take adsl. But then i saw all the adsl is being killed news, aaannndnd i figured nope.!
I still think the first LTE provider to offer straight anytime data with no BS is gonna come out on top soon.
as it is nice to have the portability of LTE. but anyway... i guess i have to stick to LTE in ther interim
I would sign up for ADSL right nowif it made sense? i am able to apparently. But i do not want any issues with it being taken away a week or a month or a years time etc to just do it allll over again.Straight LTE is abusive rape, Fixed LTE, is a lot cheaper, but packages have yet to meet real world usage.
Night time data is bullshit, tho it would have been a boon, when you had to make use of the likes of Pirate Bay, to get your movie/series fix.
Now we have streaming services that make that, a schlep, and even less desirable, than it was then. Problem is, streaming uses data when you are awake, you cannot schedule it for later, unless of course you invest in a stream recording device, which is another schlep, and further expense, and then the family, friends and whatever, are forever asking you to share. Which is a bind, but is okay, till you start getting request for stuff you have no interest in. Which is just not on.
So I would rather just stream, the content, watch and enjoy, and the rest must fend for themselves. Life is a lot simpler that way, the less issues and hassles, which suits me.
But then the bandwidth must be available, for me, and the others so they don't bother me.
Unless it's Youtube you usually can. Netflix can be downloaded to watch later and so can Showmax if I'm not mistaken. Lot's of people have Rain setup to use another service from 6-11PM. It's not really something you can carry with you and roam around so I don't think they're making much from their R50/GB and people are using mostly as a fixed solution. So they'll likely come up with something more affordable soon.Straight LTE is abusive rape, Fixed LTE, is a lot cheaper, but packages have yet to meet real world usage.
