Pushback for Marina Da Gama 3 weeks they have to move the Node for the Area which pushes everything else back including Costa da Gama

So if Octotel installs the ONT in my apartment tomorrow I'll apparently still have to wait until some time next week for it to be "provisioned". In any case it's good to finally have communication directly from Octotel.

It took less than a day from Octotel doing my install to my connection being activated. Just hassle your ISP the next day to get the ball rolling. Im glad we were part of Muizies phase 1.

Hehe. I've been hassling them a lot already.

According to the ISP: "If I were a betting man I'd bet they [Octotel] don't get round to provisioning the ONT till next week."

I have a big list of apps and games that I want to download or update. It's probably going to take several days and a new SSD before I'm done.

I've got Elite Dangerous updating and a bunch of Steam games downloading/updating at the moment so the speed test "only" shows about 60Mbit/s down. I'll post one when the downloads are paused or done.

I can still watch Youtube at 4k while other downloads are going on.

Much lower results than anything else I've tried:



Downloading Wolfenstein Youngblood now from the Bethesda launcher at 80Mbit/s for example.

[Edit]: Just played a few minutes of Youngblood and the game is just as cringeworthy as Layman Gaming said it is. Just as well i got it for free.
