Music recommendation please...

Uh, no, it's like an interactive radio station with millions of songs on it, you tell them a song you want and they give you a playlist of similar songs and you can actually listen to it, for free.

I'm not sure if it's what you are looking for - but maybe try some Orka Veer - pretty chilled :)

Just get the whole Cafe Del Mar collection .............
Some of my friends have it ... there's some good music in there :)

Oh ya - what you might also like is music by Imogen Heap - not really 'chilled' as such but if you like what has been mentioned maybe you'll like it ;)

(BTW the links go to the artists last.fm profiles were you can listen to clips of the music - and can download the Orka Veer music from the same site or from http://www.myspace.com/orkaveer)

some psy chill would od you good...

the old speedy J for excellent ambient
the Orb

if you wanna really chill out then you may want to get your grubby paws on
some nine lazy nine or nightmares on wax.

for some weird chilled out stuff you can investigate Pan Sonic or some G.Y.B.E.

When you say chilled what do you mean exactly?

Have all of their stuff. Seen them live about 6 times now BRILLIANT. Listen to UFORB tons still (Have it on vinyl and double CD). Got loads of old skool ambiant still. Used to play it into deep house. Most of my house vinyls are gooners though:( .

Just discovered this too [rather late than never eh?] . This is VERY cool. If you don't know what to do with your bandwidth, try this. Brilliant way to find new music too. And i can't stop ;) .

You start of with an artist you like, then it plays like a radio station. The "station" will select a similar song and you then give feedback [like it or don't like it] and so it goes on.....sometimes amusing if you start off with some heavy metal and you end up listening to Enya ;)

Oh 11200 is a US Zipcode to use ;) .

Just Jinger, self titled CD.

Savage garden - truly madly completly.

I've been really into the Chilled out genre of music lately, I've been listening to the new Just Jinger album over and over, some Josh Groban, Gregorian and Enya.

I'd like to keep this trend for a month or two, as my metal ears need a rest.

What would you recommend I get?

Based on the examples supplied I'd recommend: Lisa Gerrard - The Best of Lisa Gerrard.
She was with Dead Can Dance all these years ago and has a bit of solo work out too. Your mention of Gregorian and Enya is the main reason I suggest this.

What would you recommend I get?

Buddha Bar Vol 1-8 (new one coming this year)
Spirit of Buddha Bar
Chill out in Paris Vol 1-3
Claude Challe
Geisha Lounge
Hotel Costes
CLANNAD Image Vocal Album (especially track 1)
Catcher in the Light (My Story)
Film Music by Kilar
Nexus-2060 Space Station No 9
and probably the most beautiful symphony/relaxation music ever written:
Gorecki's Third.

The "Organik" album by Robert Miles. It is completely different from his usual stuff especially if you compare it to his club classic - children.
Organik has an ethnic trip hop-ish sound. Nice and chilled =)
