MW2 - RESPAWN

One small little problem with the hosting that came up a few weeks back when our clan guys played MW2 for the 1st time since Blops came out....

We all remember the whole MWEB peering debacle when they cut all ties with SAIX and said to the ISP's of the country "you want to peer with us, do it for free or not at all". Well now with quite a number of MWEB uncapped users as well as users on the IS backbone, when they join on a game where a person that has a Telkom/SAIX ADSL service that is not peered with any of the IS ISP's the LAG is horrible. And Vice versa for the SAIX user that joins on an IS hosted game.
 
So, played a few games this weekend, and I have to say, this game is still a winner.
Yeah, there is still a few issues, e.g the hosting issue, but compared to blops and even MOH. This is till better

We played a clan match against the Q's yesterday and it was awesome. Absolutely no issues - we jumped on, got a host and off we went. No FPS spikes or LAG spikes...
 
Guys - I heard a rumour that someone is organising a league on MW2 for the peeps left behind...

I think it is a brilliant idea as it will pull the couple of players left on MW2 back together. From what I can tell the format sounds exciting. Will keep you guys updated. For those of you who still play MW2 - add me if you might be interested. Maybe we can create one or two new clan's for those who are loners wandering the wasteland.
