MWeb all-in-one bundle?

Hi guys

I wanted to know if anyone has gotten the MWeb all-in-one bundle (384 2gig)?

It costs R249 or something, currently I'm paying R514 for 2gig 384.

This is how I get charged this much: Rental: 108.35
DSL Fast bundle (wtf is this?) 133.33
some other **** costing 30 and 70 rand.
Then the ADSL from the ISP is R199

The MWeb bundle costs R249 for (supposedly) all of this. Does MWeb really take over all these costs. I heard they only take on the Rental, does that mean I still pay 133.33 for the DSL fast bundle?
 
The R133.33 for the DSL fast bundle is your line speed that you pay for. If you go with mweb you wont pay that... just the R249.
 
i checked the invoice again and there was infinitCall on there for 70-something rand. What saving do i get with this on an ADSL account. I don;t even make phone calls off it! Is there some sort of data cost reduce or something.
 
Anyone else heard of infinitCall and why it helps on an adsl line you don't make calls off?
Also, what are the lines from mweb like? Are they always way below 384 or what?
 
InfinitCall started as that R7 call more promotion long time ago. I remember it used to cost something like R45 then. Also the cost limit is not R7 anymore but something like R9.50. It runs from 7pm to 7am weekdays and from 7pm friday to 7am moday over weekends

What it does is when you make a phone call or dail-up you pay a maximum of R9.50 for the duration.

For example I used it to dailup from 7pm friday and stay connected till monday morning 7am. Costs a maximum of R9.50 (Provided you were not disconnected)

If you're using ADSL or dont talk for 4 million years on the phone get rid of the service.

Ja, just cancel the infinitcall... you don't need it. Its a relic from the dial-up days.
 
Supernova, let me know if you come right, my Mom is currently on mweb 3gig package and gets the adsl through Telkom, this looks like a much better option?
 
the line will still be through telkom remybfg10k you just wont pay them... mweb takes care of that.
 
I just want to finalise something once and for all.

If I get doBroadband2, the only cost will be R258 right? There will be no voice line rental (this is a line exclusively for ADSL, different number for home phone). The bill will say R258 for internet only?
Similarly, if i get any all-in-one deal, it'll be just that cost for everything related to the line?
 
assasin, is it still cheaper to go through with this Mweb deal?

If not then wtf do they even bother?
 
assasin, she is already with mweb on their 3gig account, but i know she also pays telkom for the adsl, will it make $$ sense to migrate completely to Mweb?
 
And is this the same issue with a WebAfrica, MWeb, Axxess bundle?
