MWeb all-in-one bundle?

why does she pay telkom? did she not take the package from mweb?

Uh no, she has been with mweb for years, moved her way up from dialup to adsl once it was available, so its paying mweb as ISP and telkom as line/adsl rental, so now they bring out this "special" so i thought it would make more monetary sense for her to migrate

thats why i'm asking, no idea if its cheaper or not, seeing as i'm not sure if Telkom still charge you for anything?

It works out cheaper to take the all inclusive option.

For example we are upgrading to the 2gig all inclusive option from mweb for R279 a month. This includes 384k Telkom rental (R152) and the cap.

If you get your adsl seperately from Telkom and then take the 2gig from Mweb you will pay R152 and R199. R279 much better than R351.

The mweb account works awsome if you make use of the 300 free wifi minutes you get every month.

I know of a wi fi hotspot with a 4meg line and I push 4 to 5 gig international.

So depending on what I browse I can download 6 to 7 gig international for R279.

Obviously we all know that you have to factor in the default voice line rental from Telkom (R120 something). Bleddie bastards!

MWEB :
3 Gig ADSL Subscription R299.00 incl VAT

TELKOM :
(DSL Fast Bundle 01 Oct - 20 Oct) R 88.89
(DSL Fast Bundle 21 Oct - 20 Nov) R133.33
Telephone Line R108.95

This is her current cost breakdown

Wait a second, the free 300 wifi minutes? Doesn't that come off your 2Gig package then?

No, the 300 free minutes is a extra bonus. Only when you want to use more than the 300 minutes you will have to pay.

Stoner, i'm gonna start searching for a wi-fi spot with a 4meg line here in Centurion ;)

Thanks for the info!
