Mweb - Beyond useless!!!!

Just a warning to anyone even considering dealing with Mweb to get a cell phone contract, I highly suggest you don't. They are probably the most useless bunch of morons I have ever had to deal with in my entire life.

I have had my contract with them now for 1 month and I have phoned them approximately 20 - 30 times to get some of the simplest answers which never materialize even to this date.

First issue I had was when they told me that my CLID monthly fee was free on the special I had taken, this was even recorded in our voice conversation. When I got the phone and it was activated there was no caller line ID, it took me over a week and a post on hello peter to FINALLY get them to sort it out and activate my called line ID, but I was told that it is not actually free and I have to pay a monthly for it. I insisted they fish out the telephone recording as this was proof they are selling false services. No one ever got back to me. Fine.

I then wanted a SMS bundle added onto my contract, guess what I was told when speaking to one of their moronic consultants "sorry you are not allowed a sms bundle on this special" I mean WTF? I phoned VC and they laughed and said what a load of tripe. I called back and was told "no of course we can add it" which it was then finally added. Are these people for real? :confused:

NOW they have taken a debit order off my account for a lot more than the contract costs every month and simply want a god dam invoice detailing what the charges are. What company doesn't furnish you with an invoice??
8 phone calls them, 2 supposed faxes and 4 supposed emails from them (which I never got) as well as a hello peter post and still not a ****ing thing! :mad:

Do yourself a favor and steer clear of these twits, they will make your life a bloody misery!
 
I have to agree with AcidRazor here..

Ok well I am not even sure what he means by his comment, because Mweb have a cell phone division that do cell phone contratcts, just like Mtel, Nashua etc etc......:confused:
 
I think you should have an email address with them (you probably filled it in on the application form), which will also give you access to their online facilities. There you can check your billing online:

Thanks Tony, that’s the kicker, I do have a mweb email that they set up for me but never bothered to give me the password, I know have to fax forms to them to have the password change etc etc etc.

Anyway about 6 times they emailed me on my personal address with my invoice and 5 times I did not receive a thing. The one time I did get anything all it said was "Talk 130" and the total which I already knew.

They eventually faxed through the full invoice. Only took 3 days, a few million phone calls, a handful of swear words and a post on hello peter :rolleyes:
