You could implement the VPN at router level, or even simply install the vpn app on your phone. Cloudfare warp is a good (and free!) one that should work - and if you use something like Warp, you won't need to worry about configuring any of these IP's/ports, just enable the VPN and everything should start working on its own...

Thank you for your suggestion. I have a few months remaining on my contract with the fiber provider. After that, I plan to switch to Afrihost. I am aware that Wi-Fi calling is enabled on my line, as it works when connected to my Rain MiFi.
Mine worked perfectly fine all day at the office over Afrihost Fibre. For me it’s just MWeb and they’re insisting they don’t block WiFi calling protocols or anything of the sort.
Not going to even bother calling MTN to try troubleshooting, their contact centre is absolutely clueless! Lol
What doesn’t make any sense to me is, iPhone and the latest Samsung OneUi allow you to create an internal VPN/ hotspot and host one sim over the data of the second sim.
Tried hosting MTN ( internal WiFi Calling ) through my Vodacom and Cell C eSims it works just fine, so to me it looks like purely a MWeb issue…

Please could you share the details / settings on a Samsung phone running the lastest version of OneUI how to setup hosting one sim over the second data sim for wifi calling.
I tried looking for the setting to do this on a Galaxy A53 5G, but can't seem to find it.
