why does the mweb usage monitor show out of package suage if the only thing that's running is the connection to saix??
is there any way to change the minimum out of package to R0...right now the minimum is R100
That is the "trick" I think. I have to pay R100 + (out of package thing) to get free unlimited. So I end up with a bill each month between R250 and R300 from Mweb for "unlimited". Little bit expensive ...

Can't you set it up like this? :

My screen doesn't look exaclty the same as yours ... but I have the option for Pay per Meg, and Buy Booster.

But I'll give it a go.

Edit: Maybe next month , when the change kicks in, will I get the same options. I see in your screen shot you have to 'Enable' it ... I don't have that option.

But I think you give a different view according to the option you select ( Pay per Meg, And Booster). I thought if you do the booster thing, it will kick in and just auto buy more gig where the Pay per Meg would cap you and you can go into local only mode (does it make sense?).

Yeah you'll probably see the same options next month then. I think auto-booster will be enabled by default :p

Could you not have just said yes or no?

no, cos that makes you lazy... and the answer is at the top of the previous page... so you don't have to read all 17 pages.

... and the answer is no (but that is not the whole answer... there is more to it). :p

Well i'm sorry. The problem is i would have to start at page one then read 16 pages to get to the answer because I wouldn't know where it is.

why don't you start at the back and read back until you find the answer you are looking for? Surely the answer to the question "Has the M-web trial ended?" is not going to be anywhere near page 1 of the thread?

... and you are welcome! ;)

Well what I have concluded but still would like confirmation on is.. do you pay R145 for 1GB and then get unlimited local.. Are there any extra costs... like top up required first or something like that?

Yes, that is all you pay!

Just make sure that you DO NOT have any "top-up" options enabled in your M-Web ADSL Control Panel or it will just add another Gig of International (or even worse per Meg Billing). You use up the 1 Gig of your International and it goes directly into the local. No extra costs.
