over 30 days 213GB is maxing your line 17 hours a day on a 1Mb line. or 8.5 on 2Mb
you need to take into account shaping, it is therefore not possible to max out line unless you use unshaped protocols, and even then the high priority data is not quite intensive. when you stream a video at perfect quality over speed your video will finish buffering some time before the video finish, so a break in data transfer. taking this into account its like streaming the best possible quality for 20 hours on 1Mb or 10 on 2Mb
I think at 8 hours of streaming a day every day all day is crazy, byt thats my opinion
Ah, I understand how you were working it out now.
That usage can easily be achieved without just streaming. 2Mbps is incredibly slow and large downloads (games on Steam, for example) could essentially be queued up, meaning that the line would be in constant use as a user tries to get their content downloaded at a rate of new content being released or bought.
213GB across 30 days is pretty "normal", I'd say.
