They promised it will be sorted yesterday. It isn't. Just canceled both my mweb accounts. Going to try out Telkom internet's uncapped, which is cheaper.
Or you could get Afrihost business uncapped for the same money.

I switched to Afrihost 3-4 months back, and they did the network migration to MTN. Unusable internet for almost a week. Burned once! I'll give Telkom a shot.
Are you for real? That was one issue. The Afrihost business customers have nothing but good things to say about the account, and they've experienced no issues this weekend. If you're going to pass up unshaped office hours, priority after hours performance, priority customer service, the best line management facility, smartphone app, best website etc. for the same price as Mweb Premium, you're just going to lose out. But it's your money to flush down the Telkom toilet.

And then barely usable for another month. I won't be changing over a weekend outage.
Weekend...Seacom says it will be out for atleast 2 weeks.
How do you get the same price when Mweb is R539 and Afrihost Business is R697?
Unless its a bundle
The cable will take that long to repair. In the meantime Seacom themselves are trying to do arrange routing with alternate cable providers for the bit that is broken which should only take a day or two. This is what Mweb is saying Seacom will resolve shortly.Weekend...Seacom says it will be out for atleast 2 weeks.
You answered your own question. In any case, you'd be mad not to hand over your line because they charge less and have an amazing line management facility.

That's easy. Just inform the ISP to do so.How hard is it to swap my line from telkom to an ISP?

Mweb makes it difficult to cancel though
