Is anyone else unable to watch twitch streams? I'm getting "Failed to load video. Please submit an Issue Report."

Tried to run a tracert to www.twitch.tv. Timing out on the 10th hop.

Can anyone tell me what the possible problem might be? Just did one of these but I still don't know what Im looking at.

twitch.tv is having problems from my understanding. So if you get "failed to load video" try beta.twitch.tv/whateveryouwatch hopefully it will work for you

Hi Eliphas

Based on the spike in the 2nd hop, it looks like it may possibly be congestion at the exchange.

I'm getting very high pings in traceroute for a while now, especially evenings. Here is two taken with a few minutes between

meh, MWEB gone crap again? Even local has been sluggish and I've had problems authenticating. My backup Afrihost 1GB is flying - and even local pages are at least 20% faster.

Nothing I can do about that right?

Good morning, the trace routes show high latency on the 2nd hop. This can also show a problem closer to the remote end, the line, exchange or the remote end itself.

I would suggest getting the port recreated, testing with an alternate router. Ensure you do trace routes to local and international websites. Please also do speed tests with the Telkom guest account.

If it then proves congestion, then you can make contact with Telkom with the proof available to you.

Morning TheLaggingShaman, please do trace routes to mweb.co.za and bbc.co.uk

Is it only your gaming that is being affected? Which games are you playing? Are you doing console or PC gaming?

Hi folks! Is it just me or is International access up the creek again?

Good MOrning Guys, are you still having trouble with International traffic?

Wow, I actually spoke to someone at Telkom today that made an effort.

Didn't resolve my problem though but he did check traffic at the exchange and apparently it wasn't running at even close to capacity so he has logged a fault on the line.

Also bit slow today - dunno what's up.

OK it's pathetic, I can't even complete an international test. Ping seems OK +-200ms to the UK but download speed is a mess. Local the same.

International after it finally finished: http://www.speedtest.net/result/2835979216.png

Hi aborg

Please let me know if you still having trouble with your connection.
If so, please PM me your account info and I will look into this for you.

last night at 1 in the morning my ping works fine, then 8 in the morning it goes bad again...
got to love 40-80 spikes in-game :/

guess i must call telkom now ....

Same, night times fine but the morning-night terrible spikes, I play on LoL US server and usually I get 300 ping, which is fine, but lately its been 400-800 and sometimes even 1400. I don't think its mwebs fault though since I've tested with a different account and same result, so Im phoning telkom tommorow too.

Diablo 3 is almost unplayable at the moment and every time it freezes up, I see that the rest of my Internet is dead as well..don't know if it's telkom...sounds more like an MWEB problem (we aren't on the same exchanges after all..)
