Yes i know that then the Call Center Lady Michelle Shouted saying that they will have to confirm the area fault 1st and then only log a line fault.
 
I see that there has been a line fault logged to telkom.

We have not received any feedback from Telkom.

Please note that Telkom has a 7 working day turn around time.

Line was working all good till 1pm then it just went down...

xADSL Not Synchronized ..
 
Must say this has been the worst experience ever by a call centre agent from MWEB !
Since there is no ADSL service guess i don't need to pay Pro Rata ! Tx. !
 
What do you expect with your sevice levels on the decline?

All was cool waited for her to do a port re create etc. which didn't help then all was well till she started telling me they will have to confirm the area fault 1st and then log a Telkom Fault...
I said my line has been down since 1pm it was 4pm, they must log the fault now.
My Line & Everything is with MWEB they must sort it out.
I have already been testing and resetting the router since then.
Then She started Raising her voice and shouting that they will need to confirm the fault 1st and that they won't keep me informed... Then she said they will sms me and that i must check the connection..

Was Seriously Peeved off by the time i Put the Phone Down !

Thank you for the feedback, I'm really sorry to read of your experience.
I will escalate forward your comments to the relevant persons to deal with this matter internally.

Also I have checked your account and I see your fault is linked to a bulk Telkom fault.
It seems that your area is affect by this issues, please see our notice board for details.
 
So every night between 18h00 to 01h00 I get packet loss which can last anywhere between 5 minutes to 3 hours, and frankly its starting to aggravate me. Its been going on for the past few months now and it seems Telkom just fails to recognise the problem.

I had a look at my line statistics and got the surprise of my life. (Shown below)

How can my upstream connection have an attenuation of 159? That makes no sense whatsoever. Can someone please tell me what I can do to get Telkom to sort this issue out, because all they are going to do is get some person from their call centre to phone me and tell me "But your line is working."
 
My internet is also nearly useless this morning. I struggled to even open this page!



Streaming and http are extremely slow, both local and international.

If so, please drop me a PM with trace route done to mweb.co.za and one to bbc.co.uk
Also please let me know which DNS's settings you are using.

Is something wrong with the mweb sip server, my accounts not registering and tracert doesnt look good on the mweb network

09-May-2013 21:03:17.750 [CM504005]: Registration failed for: Lc:10001(@mweb-27120070xxx[<sip:[email protected]:5060>]); Cause: Cause: 408 Request Timeout/REGISTER from local

The tracert is in my previous post, latency and tracert to sip.mweb.net doesnt look good, so im wondering if this is a network issue

I cant seem to get any to start downloading, pretty annoying

I was having similar issues, even private torrents were taking long, I've switched to using a seedbox, much more efficient
