Last night my torrents were crawling at 20kbs, reset router, no Internet connection. Get MWEB technical to do port reset, reboot router and PC, restart torrent, 635kbs for the exact same file. (4MBps line)

Line Finally Back Up Last Night, but Speeds are Terrible just even on browsing.
Haven't even bothered with Youtube etc.
Besides the SMS no further update received from Telkom or Mweb.
Line + Data is on All Inclusive with MWEB.
Will monitor my ADSL, Anyway Tx. for at least getting me back online.
Now not only do I have erratic speeds, which after more than 2 months still remains unresolved, now I have the connection dropping a few times during the day. if this is a Telkom issue, can Mweb find out what is happening, as I pay you for the line. I have a lot of game downloads next week, and cannot wait for days to download everything.

How do you check for packet loss? Using pingtest?

Ok, so I've changed my isp from Afrihost to Mweb in middle March, waited 2 and a half weeks for my username and password, got it around April 9th (1 mb uncapped). First week of internet was okay, downloads not too bad, online gaming with minimal lag. After that my internet started disconnecting, downloads went down, absolutely no chance of online gaming (last year I gamed with ease on a 384 kbps line). Its a mission to call technical support, I wait for 5 min on my cellphone and no one answers, did that now for 3 weeks straight. I'm pretty much fed up for the service and my internet is totally screwed up at the moment, it disconnects around 4 to 5 times in a hour. Not sure what to do now....
