Funny my work adsl with mweb is dead too. Think it went down at about 9:50? The other line here is fine with Telkom as the ISP.

Edit: My area is White River, Mpumalanga.

Hi SyntaxError

I would like to look into why the account isn't working. There are no reported issues in the White River area. Please PM me the MWEB email address or username.

Hey MWEB Guy.

It seems to be working now. Guess it was just one of those monthly telkom faults. The area isn't very stable when it comes to adsl lines.

Hi sybertiger

I'm sorry you feel this way. We checked on our side and everything seems fine.

Please can you provide me speedtest and other information you might have gathered in order for us to look further into it from our side.

See the PM I sent you as well.

i can but lets say i open this MBB page it loads at about 20kb/s other pages also

but as soon as i do a speed test, boom it goes up to 80-90+ and speed test shows normal
but real usage is a diffrent story,90% of the thme
Download Speed: 532 kbps (66.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 201 kbps (25.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 27 ms

what info do u need and how can i get it?

Hi MWEB

Lino here; once again all things running perfectly! Thanks again for awesome service ;)

Whats the cost for 2mb uncapped and do you get full speeds 24/7 for xbox live gaming?

Good Afternoon venomzn, our 2MB shaped product pricing is as follows; R369.00 for data only R599.00 for the all inclusive product.

Gaming traffic is prioritised on our network , however you could test it with the FREE 7 Day trial if you'd like.

Are the trial accounts any different to the normal accounts? I can't get onto the news server. It just connects and connects and...

Afternoon, the trial accounts operate the same as the normal MWEB accounts.

Have you tried accessing the news server using the IP address?

Heya,

Anyone else having issues the last few weeks where the speed to the mweb news server is slow from 17:00 ish? In the mornings it's back to normal.

I now only get about 50% to 60% of my line speed to the news server in the evenings. Browsing seems fine.

FYI: It's a 10mbps uncapped line.

Good Evening,

Are your download speeds running at 50 to 60% the whole evening?

Looking at the amount of data you have moved today, it doesn't seem that bad.
