MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 3

Biggest problem is that I'm unable to log in. This happens about every 2-3 weeks. The signmein process goes into an endless loop.

Why is it that this ONLY happens with MWEB? It happens with no-one else? MWEB what the heck is wrong with your email???

I have also experienced the endless loop many times.

Mweb needs to sort that out.
 
Hmmmm. had a call from a "specialist" booked for 17:00, well that didn't happen. Ref 1484880

I checked that ref and according to that our 3rd party team contact you and says that the speed was fine.

I have now escalated this to our tech specialists to investigate and contact you

The someone is not telling the whole truth. They booked a call for yesterday afternoon 17:00 - 17:30.
 
Hi Mweb Guy

Spent some time with one of your specilaists yesterday. After doing multiple tests, he came to the conclusion that my account is being shaped/throttled to death, even though I am not near my cap. Anxiously waiting to hear what the feedback will be at 16:30 this afternoon. Sent all the screen shots etc to [email protected]. He promissed the network guys will investigate my account.

On MWEB accounts got 10% of line speed.

You do not have an Uncapped account therefore you are not being throttled.

Our team will remain in contact with you until fixed.

Torrents stuck on connecting to peers since this morning. Tried restarting router, no dice, but switching to another ISP resolves it. Checked my Mweb account page and it says unthrottled, so why would this be? It's not slow, it's just flat out unable to connect -- all other internet (streaming, games) is fine.

Should pick up after 00h00. They'll be done by morning.
 
Hm do you think so? I'm used to normal shaping outside the wee hours but this seems like the protocol is being straight blocked

I reckon so. Given that p2p receives lowest priority, and the Apple updates adding strain, it makes sense p2p's being shaped more at the moment.
 
Seriously peeved off now. After 3 calls tech centre still cant get the core of the issue right. Awaiting another call at 17:00. Let's see then.
