Yes, I've been following the happenings and have the latest. I've noted that you've tried getting free 1GB accounts from other ISPs, etc. It's still important to test for a prolonged period with another account though.
Truly bizarre if it is an MWEB issue (Optinet = MWEB), because struggling with gaming (or anything really) is unheard of, as anyone would attest to, really.
When you do tracerts, particularly local ones to MWEB, are you always experiencing latency on the 4th hop (160.po-channel50...)? Strange how there is no latency here when tracing BBC.
I would love to know what the issue is. Perhaps an intermittent fault on the '160.po-channel50...' equipment.
But again, it's important to test for a prolonged period with another ISP, because a simple reconnect to a new account can temporarily alleviate line/Telkom issues.
